Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /backup/qa/www/sub/rss/product.php on line 32

Depending on what you are doing, this could be an exceptionally helpful little program or underpowered. If you are just the sneaky sort who likes to extract or swap images, icons, cursors, videos, etc. from programs, then this is certainly something you'll be interested in. The simple interface makes it easy to peruse program resources and work with them.
It also makes sense for those who wish to make minor revisions or slight edits to contents, such as correcting gramatical mistakes, then this does save the fuss of using a hex editor or recalculating resource offsets.

However, for more involved work such as creating complete translations or editting dialog boxes this tool is rather underpowered. It either does not have multinational codepage support or does not make this feature obvious. Although it does contain a rudimentary dialog box viewer and editor, the boxes are not necessarily rendered correctly, especially when it comes to mapping images.

So, if you intend to do intense work, you may be more interested in another tool. However, being easy to use and well orgainized, it may makes sense for quick editting or resource extraction.
